John X. Carey is a Los Angeles-based writer/director known for his naturalistic style and thematic storytelling, including the acclaimed Dove "Real Beauty Sketches" commercial. His work has earned over 30 Cannes Lions, a DGA nomination for Best Commercial Director, with the recent short film 'Awayy' featured at SXSW. He has also written numerous screenplays in development at major studios.
